Promoting care and understanding between humans and dolphins of the Chesapeake Bay
A youth-based organisation based in Annapolis dedicated to the understanding and conservation of wild dolphins in the Chesapeake Bay
We are a small team of youth-based volunteers who have come together in order to study the communication methods of wild bottlenose dolphins (Tusiops tropicanis) in the Chesapeake Bay. Through this research, we aim to improve our community’s understanding of cetaceans’ communication styles and promote respect and empathy between humans and dolphins.
We are the winner of a Jane Goodall Roots and Shoots Grant!
There are over 3,600 dolphins that call the Chesapeake Bay Home!
